Very impressed. As wireless mics go, these are a low end price, but I thought I#039d give them
a go. Bought one in Channel 8 one on Channel 11.

The on/off switch is cumbersome - you have to unscrew the body of the mic
to get to it, but it does have a mute button on the bottom, which is useful.
I put in some 9v nimh batteries and just left them on.

Took them to church to plug them into the sound system. The receiver got full
power at about 80 feet. Experienced no drop-outs. Also put one in front of the
monitor for the electronic drums to provide a feed to the mixer. Cranked up
amp on the drums to normal volume used during a service and placed the mic
a few inches away. Again, no problems.

Not fit for Stage use or Club use!. This Samson Stage 5H Wireless System, was a big disappoint for us!

We are knowledgeable on how to set the squelch and various input settings for maximum efficiency, but we could not get a dependable connection when standing just a few feet away from the receiver.

We tried relocating the receiver, but still had numerous "drop outs" when standing just a few feet away from the receiver.

We didn#039t expect much for the price of this item, but at least it should have worked when standing very close to the receiver. We even tried relocating the receiver to different parts of the stage but to no avail. We still received numerous signal "drop-outs."

This Samson Model Stage 5H was a huge disappointment and a waste of money $$$.

Eh.. Its so hard to handle your car that you lose every race. The graphics may be great, but the way they made this game is poor. I would maybe rent it but dont buy it because I took it to a used game shop to sell after I played it once. Dont get this.

This is THE racing game. Yeah... I dont like racing games. Generally. Then I went to my friend#039s house, played the game, and could not take my eyes off the screen for 10 hours. It didnt get boring either... I recommend it very much....

Good Hype...Poor Racing.... This game is mostly hype. I was hoping for GT3 with cell shading but that#039s not what this game is. The graphics are different but there are a lot of jaggies and pixelization. Most of the cars upgrades are avaliable for free so why work hard to get your car in shape The controls are too sensative. Turn alittle to much and the car spins out coming to a complete stop. I can#039t count the number of races I was leading but spun out and ended up 6th. I also found the special effects from the tires and of the line when driving fast to be very annoying.

Ruined game. I really wanted to like this game, I reallly did. But [bad] handles ruins this gorgeous looking racer. I am one of the biggest gearheads in my neighborhood (and I am only 12), and I totally went out and rented this game. A day later I returned it because it was that bad. After playing for about 2 minutes and beating it in a extra hour and 30 minutes that I will never get back in my life, I cried for the rest of the night. I also had nightmares japanese-anime looking Dodge viper GTS concept cars hitting me. Please save yourself and your leisure time from this terrible game.

As for new characters, there is a girl (Kellie Neuman), a hawaaiian guy in shorts, Tiger, Vijay, Notah, Appleby etc. The Hawaaiian guy in the shorts is similar to a Hot Shots character and his actions and movements resemble a Hot Shots game.

The course graphics are much improved, Copperhead Canyon is like
a Hot shots course- as is the Britshish Links course.

Overall the game is slow and not too much fun to play. You pick a character with low skills and enter challenges and matches to
earn money to buy him or her skill points in the areas of power, accuracy, spin, recovery, etc. You can also unlock new outfits, characters, and courses.

The "fast play" feature that they are advertising on the cover
does not do anything for me-My friend and I tried it once and
I doubt we will ever play it again.

There is a definite movement in this game towards making the game
into a Hot shots/Swing Away Golf game. I have never really liked
any of the Tiger Series

At least it#039s better than last year...sort of. I#039m always baffled by people who like console golf games, yet they don#039t like "Hot Shots" style golf games. To be truly great at "Hot Shots" or any really good golf game takes skill, timing, finesse, shot/club selection and the ability to read greens. What makes a great golf game is how all of those things are achieved, how they flow together. Tiger Woods PGA 2002, as much as any other video golf game allows you to manipulate the reality of golf to better play it (putting spin on the ball in mid-air, zooming along the path of a putt to read it, etc.) That being said, I want to have FUN when I play a golf title. I don#039t want to try and do three different things with only two hands to get a ball to go where I want it. Tiger 2002 wants to be a golf simulation, hey man if I want to play bad golf, I can go out and actually PLAY golf. I play video golf to be GREAT at golf. This year#039s version looks better in some areas (characters, greens, trees) and worse in others (Robin#039s egg blue ponds What kind of toxic waste is in that water). The best part of this game is the inclusion of more courses. THANK YOU EA SPORTS for attempting to give us our money#039s worth course-wise. The worst part is the tedious WORK involved in playing it.
My advice is to rent it. Who knows You may like being frustrated.

Excellent but not perfect. This game is truely an enjoyable experience. I had just as much fun playing this as I did 10 years ago playing PGA Tour II for genesis. The graffics are un-real, and the courses are equally as spectacular, especially those which are imaginary. The game play is quite realistic. For example, the way the shot is affected by different lies is extremely relatable to real life golf. Although 2003 is coming out in only a month, I will be buying this game this afternoon, because it infected me with immediate addiction. The only two flaws I found in the game were that in Tournament mode, you only play two rounds rather than four. Also, the game became very easy. The second day I played the game I shot 57 for 18 holes. But it is still definitley a wise buy for any golf or video game golf lover.

Golf games will never be the same. I am buying PS2 mainly because of this game. I played it with a friend and lo and behold it was the best game I have ever played.
The Graphics are so real. The only 2 problems with the game is the analog swing and that there are no scrambles,like best ball or texas. those are the only 2 problems in the entire game which is great because a game usuallt has at least 5. Realistic, challenging game. I guess all I have to say about this game is that after demoing it in the store, I traded GTA3, and three other non-descipt games to get this game and I am thoroughly enraptured with my purchase. The reality and challenging nature of it really captured my attention and will keep it until a golf game comes onboard that I can play against other people online at once. I kind of wish, though, that there was a way to create your own golfer, as that would get me even more involved in the game. Enjoy your purchase!

Overall, 1 out of 5 stars because the game could have been awesome, but with LONG load times for nothing (10 seconds for just the main menu every time), the slow performance, and the same ... AI in EVERY match you play, it totally blows this game.

25 yr old Hockey game player - Rent it First. I rented NHL Hitz yesterday because I have been playing hockey games since the old Nintendo and Sega games and am on the lookout for a new good one. The best game since those old systems was by far NHL 1998 for PS1 (not just my opinion). I bought NHL 2001 last year for the PS2 and was not disappointed or thrilled for all of the pointed out problems. Getting to Hitz, the graphics are like 2001 until the game starts and then they are lackluster. The combination play is not very good. Guys get on fire and you can lay out some big hits and the fighting is good. Granted, I only played it on one player, but there are no moves besides a 360 spin which is highly unrealistic. You can#039t deke the goalie and you will never know what type of plays warrant goals. It is very frustrating due to lack of consistency in goal-scoring. Maybe its fun in six player mode, but with lack of teamplay and passing combinations and only big hits (which you can#039t see bk the graphics are not great anyway) and fighting this game is not getting my vote and I am returning it to blockbuster after one day of playing it. If you love hockey rent it first!

BEST GAME EVER!!!!!!!!!!!. Being a huge hockey fan this game makes me want to take my own hockey stick and rail someone through the glass. Graphics are comparible to NHL 2001, but are still pretty good. The gameplay is amazing however my thumb is in great pain. WARNING: Many hours will be spent playing this game. If you have class skip them.

Baseball lives and dies by the pitcher/batter duel and All-Star has you covered here. How By offering every option the competition can muster. You can use a cursor system (like MVP Baseball), a timing based system (less realistic, but good for new players), and a system like High Heat where you have to watch the ball carefully (most realistic). Each system works but the cursor-based option could is sub par: the information regarding where and when to swing appears too late. The gameplay has other flaws. Fielding feels soft, unresponsive and slow, and the AI is stupidly aggressive at times: stealing when it shouldn#039t and slugging when a sacrifice is called for.

All-Star has good graphics-not the best available but very good and the animations are all smooth and lifelike. You can even identify many players by their batting stance alone. The audio is a standout, specifically the commentary, which is accurate, insightful, and even includes entertaining side conversations about the rules and quirks of the game.

All-Star isn#039t quite the best baseball game you can buy for your console system, but it offers the best overall package if you aren#039t sure what you want. Good gameplay, good graphics, lots of options and extras, and a nice range of hitting options. Play ball!-Andrew S. Bub

I bought NHL Hitz pro hoping that it would be like NHL Hitz 2003, but improved (5 on 5 play, etc). It has dropped all of the fantasy elements that made the originals fun, there are no mini-games, the stats and customization features aren#039t as good, etc, etc. I can#039t believe how terrible NHL Hitz pro is after having absolutely loved NHL Hitz 2002/2003.

Finally, the game isn#039t completely smooth - several cut scenes between plays hang up (stutter). This hasn#039t happened w/ my other 7 Xbox games. It really does seem like this game was just thrown out there w/o the love and polishing that 2002/2003 received.

In short, if you liked NHL Hitz 2002/2003, rent this first...this probably won#039t be the game for you. If you#039re the kind of person who likes a sedate hockey sim (but in this case w/ harder checks and fights, etc), than maybe you should consider this game. I personally thought it was terrible.... I#039m very unhappy w/ this purchase.

Good, but ESPN NHL HOCKEY better!. No wonder why they call it NHL HITS PRO, you can really hit people and they go flying About 10-15 feet! Its amazing. There is one thing though,you do not have total control of the players and is way hard to score. Basically the only way to score is to do a hard slapshot.The slapshots are really week. And the wrist shots too are week. I have a PS2 and have ESPN NHL HOCKEY,which is better. Its your choise.
